No pics as I was driving and it came from the other direction. It was not restored and had more of a rat rod vibe going for it. It had been lowered (which I hate) and had a roof rack, and the engine sounded very high performance and definitely not stock. My own Beetle is currently stuck in my garage. Friggen squirrel decided to chew my garage door wiring. He completely removed about a foot of the switch wiring up near the door motor. I’m surprised the little monster didn’t electrocute himself. ---

Took a trip to western Mass for some spring skiing and visiting, spotted some fun cars. I keep forgetting to mention it in this thread – last week I saw some kind of pickup I didn’t recognize. I only saw it from the rear, so I only saw the bed and back of the cab. It looked tall and narrow as pickups go, and very boxy. Kind of like a Jeep Gladiator, except the taillights were wrong, namely the taillights were round, not the kind Jeep uses. Based on the fact that I didn’t recognize it, I’m speculating it was something not very common in the US. Maybe a Land Rover, given that it looked sort of Jeep-like, but not quite? Or maybe just something mundane with a custom built bed. ETA: Looking at some pictures of old Land Rovers, I saw some that looked sort of similar but not quite like what I saw, but I assume different years had different configurations. Then I saw this, which does look pretty much like what I saw. Possibly, although I recall seeing two solid red round taillights, not the ones with the white centers like in that picture, which I feel makes an old Land Rover the more likely possibility. The truck I saw was shiny and black, but it could have been restored.
