As a friend of mine once codified, “shat” is one of the funniest words in the English language. Perfect combination of the bluntly vulgar and the carefully precise.

Back when I was in college my stomach apparently had a limitless capacity. I remember once eating a fully-loaded large pizza, then a half-gallon of ice cream . . . and I assume some beverage as well.

When I was in high school, I won a hot dog eating contest. Scarfed down 17.

When the manager of the Chinese buffet down the street sees me pull into the parking lot, he hangs a sign on the door that says CLOSED - BECOMING DRY CLEANER.
