I was just wondering…can anyone tell me what using is used in this [youtube video](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7Y-5SY07mI&search=nazi%20rocketeer)? (Warning: Probably NSFW, because of music. And nuclear space Nazis.) I know it’s not from _Gladiator_, though it kinda sounds like Hans Zimmer & Lisa Gerrard, but it sounds like it _might_ be from _Battlestar Galactica_. Can anyone help me out? ---

It’s definitely a Bulgarian female choir for the polyphonic vocals, so either the Time of The Gypsies soundtrack, [Trio Bulgarka](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trio_Bulgarka), [Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Myst%C3%A8re_des_Voix_Bulgares), or similar. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it, but I’m about 75% certain it’s from [Time of the Gypsies](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097223/). I’m not musical enough to tell if it’s overlain by, or accompanied by, the orchestral stuff, but it’s definitely Bulgarian/Balkan polyphony. ---

Sounds sort of like one of the Japanese singing background tracks from “Ghost in the Shell” ---

I just did a quick search—it looks like the new _Galactica_ soundtrack does feature Bulgarian vocals. I would never have recognized them, and it does narrow things down quite a bit. I tip my hat! ---
