I just received a message (and have heard of a similar message received by at least one other person at a different domain); the content is below, but I’ve replaced my address and info with **bolded variables**.

```auto
> Subject: E-mail account disabling warning.
> Date: Tue, 02 Mar 2004 17:03:16 -0500
> From: support@ **domain.tld**
> To: **name** @ **domain.tld**
> Dear user of " **domain.tld**" mailing system,
> Password is "76548".
> The **domain.tld** team
```

So, here are my questions:

1. What virus was most likely in the attachment?

2. Where can I look up virus outbreaks and symptoms _early_ (that is, before Slashdot, Drudge Report, and Google News run stories about them)? There’s got to be someone posting articles as soon as a new virus is noticed… right?

Thanks a heap.
