# What's the oldest spam / marketing email you stil receive?

I bought a telescope 20 years ago, and I still get emails every week from that company.
Bought a piece of art 25 years ago, still get marketing emails from them.
Although I still have both items, I’ve never bought anything else from either place. Have to give it to them though - they’re persistent. Can anyone beat 25 years?

I saw a band in 1999, as openers for a band I was there to see. I signed up for their email newsletter. They never had an unsubscribe link because I think they just send it using BCC. So, I just let it ride.

I was job hunting in another city about 20 years ago. Somehow that resulted in me being on a realtor’s spam list for that area. Multiple emails per week on available housing. That realtor in turn apparently gave me email to someone in a different state so I get spam from that idiot. (Very similar format, etc.)

I bought a refrigerator at Sears. Had to give them an email for a discount code. I left that fridge at my old home. I’ve had two since then.
Still get the Sears email, despite unsubscribing. Are they even still in business?

Ok then set up a filter and send it to the spam folder.
