There is this reference in Indian epics like “Mahabaratha” and “Ramayana” of ppl using weapons of nuclear porptions to kill other armies. Although the accuracy of these claims are a fierce debate , from historic perspective there could be a truth to this. If so indians are masters of WMD. btw quite irrelavant to this , in Rmayana its noted that sri lankan evil king Ravana used a flying machine to kidnap indian chick…

Well, we may as well go back to the Enuma Elish which has orbiting space stations and Marduk is akin to Luke Skywalker blowing up the Death Star.

Although the accuracy of these claims are a fierce debate , from historic perspective there could be a truth to this.

Cite? I’ve done some research into the idea that ancient myths may have more truth to them than meets the eye, but unfortunately my sources won’t hold up to SD-style scrutiny.

As an aside, I do admit that it’s an intriguing thought.

Of course, I can’t speak for the veracity of the Bible passages, so maybe I shouldn’t open my mouth…

The recent PBS show on pre-Clovis evidence in NA repeatedly refers to the Clovis points as “weapons of mass destruction” because they reputedly killed off all the megafauna in a couple hundred years.

On that basis, we’d better start invading the Indian reservations…
