# What's the origin of "Molly's Ass"?

I’ve occasionaly heard from an older generation that mine different phrases about “Molly’s Ass”; i.e. “that’s uglier than Molly’s Ass”.

Has anyone else heard this? Does anyone know it’s origin?

The origin of “Molly’s Ass” is “Molly’s Duodenum”. I’ve never heard the phrase, though.

I’ve heard of [Molly’s Nipple,](http://utahreach.org/Sanpete/visitor/pics/mollynip.jpg) but not Molly’s Ass.
