I recently bought a refrigerator without that. I also removed the ice-maker from the freezer compartment to create more space there.
But yes, that limited my options.
Bottom freezer refrigerators would seem to fill the bill.
I’ve seen a few models with door water dispensers but I dunno if they move ice up there as well.
