What's the scariest movie you've ever seen?

Oh, SECONDS is GREAT! Absolutely unforgettable, and one of the creepiest movies ever made.

Sick of your old life? We’ll give you a new one…complete with Rock Hudson’s (1966) face!

It’s only recently become available on videatape, for some reason…I see Amazon has it priced at eighty bucks. But the price should drop in the next few months.

Uke

The scariest movie I’ve seen (and do not wish to see again) is titled, I believe, Black Sunday, which was made in or around 1957-1962, that area.
Seeing scorpions crawl out of a cadavers eye-sockets is GROSS!!
After that, Arachniphobia because I do not like spiders (and they CAN be anywhere), and the newest version of the Mummy (see note about scorpions above).

Mottos to live by-
“This too shall pass”;
“I’m fine, but getting over it!”

Children of the Corn! I first saw this about 14 years ago, and to this day dread driving on a highway at night where both sides are cornfields. (Living in Michigan, it does happen every so often.)

The andromeda strain, especially it’s creepy music.

Capotes’ In Cold Blood was once done as a made for TV kind of thing. I saw it when I was about 9 or 10. IIRC, it starred Robert Blake.

Now that was scary.

Darn, you got “In Cold Blood” before me :slight_smile:
Ditto to “The Haunting” first version. It was on TCM about 2 weeks ago–wooooohhhh, scary! Almost as scary as the book!
