How long will it take for natural nut (cashew or almond) butter to go rancid if stored in a pantry at room temperature? ---

It didn’t even cross my mind that thread might not be about semen. That disturbs me, a little bit. ---

Most of the stuff I’ve read says they will remain ok for about a month, if kept in a cool, dark place, but that they really should be kept refrigerated. Let your nose tell you if a month is too long. ---
