# What's the skinny on Joe Kennedy III?

At 36 years old he’s undoubtedly too young to challenge for the next Democratic leadership. What about the one after that?

From what I’ve seen and read about him he seems like a decent bloke.

Stanford University (BA)  
Harvard Law School (JD)  
Fluent in Spanish  
Peace Corps for a couple of years

I’ve heard him speak (on the internet, of course) and he seems very passionate and genuine.

What’s the broader scoop in the US?

Can we get away from dynastic families? Please?

In principle I’m against him, any other Kennedy, Clinton or Bush running ever again for President.

How is decent bloke and a Kennedy now enough of a qualification for President?

Perhaps you missed the other qualifications I listed, and the fact that he’s an elected U.S. Representative.

ETA: I see your point though. In Canada we have an appointed leader, and elected pretty much on name recognition. He wasn’t my choice for PM, but at least he’s also a decent bloke and not an asshole.

Neither a Senator or a Governor, not much of a qualification for President.

So when he really does something, when he actually holds a high office, then I will still say: _ **“Can we get away from dynastic families?”** _
