What's the story on the curse of Macbeth?

I’ve been in theatre since I was 14 (30 years and counting) - and I have never believed in any of the MacBeth curses - or ANY theatre curse, for that matter. Probably for the same reasons that I don’t believe in Santa, The Tooth Fairy, or organized religion.

Good to hear You’re fine. Although it’s something different You’re talking about here- walking under the ladder is bad luck it’s self. Another superstition :slight_smile: Didn’t You hear about that one? Just don’t ask me why… have no idea…

Just a slight hijack, for dopers in the Denver area, Listen Productions is putting on a run of Macbeth right now.

It is an awesome staging, set in Colorado in the late 1800’s. Although I may be a little biased, due to Mrs. Lebeef playing Banquo.

It running Thursday through Sunday at the Buntport Theater. It’s closing on the 17th of November.
