The crumbs in a chip bag are great when used as a meal on fried fish. Take the crumbs and run em through a chopper or processor and add them to the flour/corn meal mix and when fried thet really add to the crispiness. I like a bit of garlic salt and lemon pepper added as well. (I save my chip crumbs just for this purpose.)

If I’d been **Aesiron** I would’ve cut that onion into slices and w/ a bit of water, battered that sucker up with the chip meal and had some damned good onion rings. A little ketchup on the side would’ve been nice too. 😃

😃 😃 😃 just nearly lost my coffee on the keyboard. Man that’s fucked up!
You let the guy eat a can of dogfood? 😃 😃 😃
I’ll admit, I buy my dog really good gourmet dogfood and some of it smells and looks like real food. I guarantee I could put some out at a party and it’d get eaten. Some crackers and cheese whiz on the side. Yeah I can believe it. 😃

I looked on the label and the ingredients are supposedly 100% beef, chicken, and all natural etc… probably as good or better than some of the potted meat you get at the grocery store.

I might’ve done that but my stove doesn’t work and I don’t think baked onion rings are all that easy to make.

At beach week my roomies and I had peanut butter sandwiches covered with snack mix: pretzels, peanuts, cheezits, etc. Pretty tasty but it looked like someone had used them to sweep the floor under the store snack display.

Plain pringles with peach ice cream as dip.

Sounds gross, but was really good. Of course, I haven’t had any desire to try it since (and that was at least 30 years ago!!)

Damn, 30 years ago. I remember when Pringles first came out but it sure doesn’t seem like it’s been 30 years. Gettin old I guess…funny I don’t feel old.

Strangest thing? hmm, how about… a spaghetti sandwich? naah everybody eats those
hmm… let me see, what about… a chili omelet? not too good :dubious:

er…maybe uh…hmm leftovers stew? I mean a stew made out of leftovers. My roomate cleaned out the fridge…and put everything in a crockpot with about a half a block of Velveeta cheese. Later…everyone was jonesin’ for something to eat. He pulls out this cheesy shit and gives everyone a big bowl and spoon. It was funny as hell.
One guy’s saying it tastes like pizza and the other is saying it tastes like KFC.
One guys pulls out a half raw piece of bacon and I realized then what the
fucker had done. Especially when it tasted like dark Lowenbrau. That sob had cleaned out the box and fed it to everyone at the same time. 😃😃 😃

ya know what? not countin the bacon it wasn’t all that bad… 😃 the things people will eat when they’re stoned :smack:

Not me, but my great grandmother. Towards the end of her life she was a real psycho bitch and so her daughter, my grandma would give her “happy custard” which was custard with a valium. The doctor told her to. Anyway, I was visiting and was left alone with great grandma who took a cup of what she thought was happy custard out of the fridge. I immediately saw it was bacon grease, but let her eat quite a bit before she declared “this ain’t custid!” It’s nearly 30 years later and I still don’t feel guilty.

this wasn’t precisely sheer munchies, it was a combination of flavors I wanted to savor, and didn’t feel like waiting for three different meals to enjoy each: I made liverwust sandwiches using brown sugar cinnamon Pop Tarts instead of bread, and washed it down with REAL grapefruit juice, not that sweet stuff.

I also found a great use for some REALLY naaaasty nacho cheese/salsa mix that someone bought for me - I’d tried it with chips and it was awful, but damn it made a great dip for raw broccoli…
