Sorry to ruin it for you (I love the name too), but the team name is the “Fighters.” Nippon Ham is the company that sponsors them.  
My college was named the Archers. Not the guy with a bow and arrow; they were named for the architectural feature. Mascot was two guys dressed up like a stone entraceway. I shit you not.
