**Snake Eyes** with Nic Cage and Gary Sinise. Two of my all time favorite actors. But that movie was HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. I went to the drive-in, and left about 45 mins before it ended. I still don’t know how it ended, but I don’t care. I mean, they revealed every single plot twist 30 mins into the flick! Whose bright idea was that?! ---

Apt Pupil Not just bad. I hate to use this word. Generally I don’t belive in being offended by anything, but…not just bad, offensive. It takes a lot for me to walk out. The Frightener was also really bad but I didn’t expect anything from that one. ---

_Seven Years In Tibet_didn’t do much for me, and it was way too long to boot–I call it _Seven Years In A Movie Theater._ I also paid to see _Howard The Duck_…but we won’t talk about that. ---

Hate to say this, because I was rooting for this film to be good, but…The Judas Project. Only 12 people in the theater when I went to go see it, and this was still in the first week. ---

…and I also saw this horrid movie–I think it was direct to cable–starring Christopher Plummer, or some other actor I’d seen before, falling in love with some woman and the trials of their courtship. I guess I paid, because i had to buy the earphones to listen to it. I’d have walked out, but I was on an express bus going on the highway to Edmonton, so that could have hurt more than the film did. Not much more, though. ---

Is what I wanted to be! How can you take hot cars, hot babes, Nicholas Cage, and a chase scene with a vintage Mustang and come up with the worst movie of the 21st century? It was my wifes pick, but I also wanted to see it. I don’t know what the writers & director got for making this movie, but they should’ve gotten life without parole! ---

Two come to mind: The Scorcese - DeNiro remake of “Night and the City”. Only movie I ever slept through. Nuff said. The sequel to “Chinatown” - “The Two Jakes”. Proves that Jack should stick to what he knows best: acting, not directing. To paraphrase Lloyd Bentsen: “Mr. Nicholson, I’ve seen Roman Polanski’s work, and believe me, you’re no Roman Polanski.” ---

Back in the early 80s, some buddies and I went to see _Yor, Hunter From the Future_. You know a movie is bad when a bunch of young teenaged boys can’t get into a caveman adventure with laser fighting. Before that; _Megaforce_. Motorbike missles? I’ve repressed most of it. _Rob Roy_ left me feeling awful. I wanted to crawl out of the theatre, and curl up in the shower in a fetal position. I don’t think the movie was _bad_, I just didn’t enjoy seeing the protagonist have to endure one unfair horrible thing after another. _King Solomon’s Mines_ remake from the 80s. Laughable. I’m sure there are many more. ---

* * * ## “The Haunting” (" AAAAh must thave da children!" DIE ALREADY, you UGLY BITCH!) Surely you must qualify this as the recent unconscionable REMAKE of “The Haunting” and not Robert Wise’s wonderful adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s spooky novel “The Haunting” starring Julie Harris and Claire Bloom? worst movie I’ve paid to see? “Superfuzz” Of course I was 11 so my mom paid for it, but it still counts. “Spaced Invaders” Went with a friend who also likes light hearted Science Fiction. We were the only people int he theater, yet I still picked a broken seat. I’m starting to hear that “Hollow Man” may fit the bill, though I haven’t seen it. ---

Some of these movies I actually like _because_ they are so bad! As the ads say, “Behold the Power of Cheese!” That said, I have to echo the post about Star Trek V: The Final Frontier. I also am a Trek fan, but that was simply as awful as Trek gets. Insipid story, mangled continuity, poor cinematography, and really lame attempts at humor. I was very happy that they didn’t let that be the last movie to star the original crew. The worst I have seen in the last couple of years has to be Supernova. It wasn’t good enough to be enjoyable, and not bad enough to be enjoyable. It committed the worst sin of all by just being crashingly, mind-numbingly _boring._ ---
