I have seen nothing presented to support this, but I can’t say I’ve done any in-depth digging either - a cursory glance says they’re all [right-wing extremists](https://www.newsweek.com/whitmer-kidnap-militia-wolverine-watchmen-gab-1537785). ---

Yeah, that’s my read, too. They hate Trump, but that’s mostly because they stake their identity on being edgelords, more extreme than anyone else. Trump’s not rightwing enough for them. I’ve also seen them characterized as anarchists, but that’s bullshit. I know plenty of anarchists, and that’s not what these assholes are. ---
