Not necessarily. I’ve tried eggplant via several methods of preparation, including baba ganoush, and to me, it tastes like dirt. The baba ganoush tasted like spicy dirt.

I’m certain that 100% of that meal hatched from a can.

Pig breast and rib chops both taste like ribs. You just take the bones out. This likely is not how a fast food company makes them. But you don’t need to invoke special paranormal forces to do it, nor unusual organs or voodoo.

Not at all. And I wouldn’t be surprised if McRibs aren’t made of the best cuts and have some less than savory meat in them.

But what I was getting at was the sketchy journalism in the article. The article lists someone saying something in one part, then uses that as “proof” that the McRib is made that way.

Realistically all the author could have said with any authority is that as a restructured meat product, it _could_ have hearts, tripe, etc… in it because those are easily used to make those things. It’s not a logical conclusion that because it could be made of them, that it IS made of them.

It’s basically scaremongering wrapped up as a “behind the curtain” article, and that sort of thing irritates me, whether it’s aimed at a mom & pop store, or a humongous multinational restaurant behemoth.

Have you never had green jello salad? Blasphemer! Heretic!

Now that crap with shredded carrots, raisins, mayonnaise and other stuff, that stuff is awful and people who enjoy it should be ashamed.

I’m ashamed, at least the 10 year old me is/was ashamed. That’s the last age I think I ever even saw that stuff.

Well, it shouldn’t be surprising. After all _everybody_ knows they use [worm meat and cow eyeballs](https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/worm-meat-used-mcdonalds-hamburgers/) in their burgers.

You wouldn’t dare say that to my mom in 1971.
