The SD/Dopers are amazing. During a recent outing, my g/f and I spotted a hawk just like the one in the pictures, sitting on a branch preening, not 20 ft. from us. After checking with the Audobon folks, we were able to determine that it was either (a) Sharp-Shinned juvenile or (b) Cooper’s juvy.
