We call it 3-5-7. You start with 3 cards, drop, compare if needed. Then we deal two more cards. At that time Straights/flushes are allowed. Drop/compare again and then deal two more cards. Drop/compare one last time.
Sometimes, we throw in the rule that 3’s, 5’s and 7’s are wild when that number of cards have been dealt to you. It’s a silly game but a good time waster.
