# What's up with Dave Chapelle?

According to Entertainment Weekly, Chappelle actually did tape “four or five” (their quote) episodes of sketches, but not the corresponding link material to make them ready-for-broadcast.

I was unaware anything had been taped this season. The quality must really be questionable if Chapelle walked away from a season in progress to regroup.

Amend my statement to “no unaired Chapelle show here – at least, none he’ll approve of.”

I could personally stand a little more of the continuing saga of Wayne Brady on th Chapelle Show.

According to Neal Brennan and Doug Herzog (head of Comedy Central) in the _Time_ article, the skits were as good as last season. Chappelle himself doesn’t seem to think his unaired work is weak.
