I have been unable to access Hotmail’s site all night since I got home from class. Is anyone else having this problem? ---

Weird, I just found out I am having the same problem connecting to [www.bn.com](http://www.bn.com) and [www.netflix.com](http://www.netflix.com). Doesn’t work in Chrome or IE but works in Firefox. Yet the majority of sites are still working in both Chrome and IE. What could cause this sort of limited connectivity problem with both of those browsers? ---

I was using Firefox 3, but you say that’s working for you too, so that doesn’t help much. ---

Just checked, and it is working for me. Using Firefox, and now and then, I have gotten that message. I go somewhere else, and when I try it again, it works fine. Guessing that their servers get overwhelmed by high traffic now and then, but don’t really know why this happens. ---

Maybe I should start a new thread about this, but I’m having a serious problem now. Last night it was just a few sites like Hotmail that were doing this, but when I woke up today _nothing_ loads in Chrome! (or IE, not that I care about IE, but for diagnostic purposes) I’m on this site in Firefox so clearly my internet connection is working… but how can I determine what caused my browsers to suddenly crap out like this? ---

Nevermind, it seemed to be some kind of incompatibility with a program I had downloaded. I uninstalled it and had to do a system restore to get things working again.
