Ive lost count of the number of people who think Jews rule this world and run all the major businesses and therefore they’re bad. It’s completely futile trying to engage in an argument involving that line of thought too. ---

Hmm, Curious. I wonder where you live because I’ve never in my life heard of or witnessed any “Jew Hate” of any significance. I mean, I’ve heard all the jokes about how Jews are good with or tight with money. But even in those instances, I never got the impression that the people telling these jokes truly believed that Jews are “the evil.” I’m not trying argue these jokes are completely harmless, just that said people who say such jokes seem to be more naive than racist. ---

Um…because they are bigots? One does not engage in rational discussion or argue with bigots. You just tell them to shut their fucking mouth and keep their comments to themselves. ---

They’re an easy target : until Israel, they were the one minority every country was guaranteed to have. It’s a general rule that minorities are the hated source of a country’s ills. It’s only logical : it’s our country and we’re the majority, surely \*we \*wouldn’t create the problems that affect us. So \*they \*must be to blame. So, you’ve got country A blaming minorities X and Y, and country B blaming minorities X and Z. When people from country A and country B meet, they realize they have one minority in common and holy crap ! They’re up to the same shit EVERYWHERE ! The godless greedy conspirating commies ! This, you needed me to explain ? ---

FWIW, it’s been a while since I’ve seen a specific case of anti-Semitism that wasn’t accompanied by more broadband bigotry (ie. the speaker seemed to be equally prejudiced against just about everyone that wasn’t a straight Christian white male). ---
