I love wearing my fedoras, but I customize all mine. And yes, I wear them with jeans. I am definitely not a hipster. ---

Well, this thread reminded me I haven’t bought a new hat in a year. So I went down to Byrnie Utz on my afternoon break and bought [one of these](http://www.mybabyjo.com/hats/stefbostonpinfedorabrn_lg.jpg). Think I’m a douche? GOOD! 😛 ---

Onward to hipster douchedom! Although on me it looks more faggy (which is what I’m going for) than hipsterish; of course, everything I wear looks faggy, up to and including steel-toed boots. ---

I hate these hats. They’re all over a certain class of tourist in Thailand. I have a video somewhere that I took of a guy in one of these hats, wearing a wife-beater, and yellow Speedos dancing in a club and thinking he was the dog’s bollocks. It’s horrific. So, when I’ve been there over the past few years, I’ve formulated the general rule “if you wear a pork pie hat, you are likely to be a douchebag”. This hasn’t been proven wrong so far. ---
