It’s some kind of cleaning cloths or cleaning system. The silver threads are supposed to make them anti-bacterial. I am being invited to parties right and left. So many people I know are becoming consultants. What is this stuff? How can silver threads allow me to clean raw chicken juice from my counter without using soap? ---

I wrote my post quickly at lunch, and am embarrassed by the short, choppy sentences. I hadn’t heard of this product and it’s popping up like dandelions in the spring. Thanks for the help. I think I will decline the party invitations. ---

This does sound like at the very least borderline science; that said, there is solid evidence of the antibacterial properties of silver (well, its ion(s)). ---

The evidence I’ve seen is that the antibacterial properties of silver are mild. Certainly not to the point where you could wave some at a dirty counter and call it sanitized.
