# What's with Slug's pictures?

The [Baltimore City Paper](http://www.citypaper.com/) used the same version as this website, vaginal spalshing in the face and all.

When we were on AOL, we had to occasionally edit the columns on the site to fit AOL’s Terms of Service.

Some of the papers that publish The Straight Dope in syndication cens–I mean edit, EDIT to suit themselves and their own local standards.

Now that we’re in cyberspace on our own, what you read is what was published in the Reader.
