So let me get this straight… the massive 4-disc version coming out in November has _none_ of the extras on yesterday’s 2-disc release? I deliberately cancelled my pre-order on that one because I was led to believe (by a Suncoast employee) that the 4-disc set would have the same features plus 30 minutes of extra scenes that would give the movie an R-rating. The stuff that **N9IWP** posted doesn’t sound like it would. **pldennison** , what is your source on that info? Amazon, IMBb, and [theonering.net](http://theonering.net) are all a little spotty with the details. Thanks! ---

Thanks for the info, folks. I was going to get the one that came out in November, but this thread made me change my mind and pick up the one that’s already out. I’ll probably rent the november one, but I wanted to buy the movie I saw, not the director’s cut 🙂 Sadly, I won’t have anyone to watch it with until tomorrow… ---

Never mind… I just found word-for-word exactly what **pldennison** posted on [www.lordoftherings.net](http://www.lordoftherings.net).
