# What's with the Sticky?

Well?

I saw the post on GQ being **sticky** , but why are you guys prefacing every SDMB notification with that particular word?

I feel like I missed something major here, like the **Hi, Opal** thing!😕

That word is added automatically by the software when you “pin” a thread (or, in vBulletin terms, when you make it a “sticky” thread.")
