As long as you don’t drive or do something equally irresponsible, I don’t care if you drink yourself into the gutter at 7 a.m. ---

There is nothing about getting drunk at 2 pm that getting drunk at 10 am won’t cure. Of course I get off work at 8:00 am. ---

Because people get a kick out of being self-superior assbags over any perceived difference between themselves and others. It’s the same reason why waking up at noon gets you smug “good MOOOO-RNING, sunshine!” commentary from the peanut gallery, even if you worked until three in the morning the night before. Doing exactly the same things that they do, but at a different time than they personally would do them, is plenty sufficient to mark you as an inferior. Now then, I’m off to work, so have one for me, will you? ---

I suppose it depends on the definition of drunk but you should never get drunk. feeling mildly relaxed (well below the legal definition) would be much more preferred than room spinning tomfoolery. ---
