The problem that we’re trying to solve is that the MW has profoundly [**failed to keep pace with inflation**](https://www.businessinsider.com/how-much-us-minimum-wage-and-its-value-has-changed-over-time#1961-1963-6), effectively giving The Lowest Paid Workers In The Nation an annual pay CUT in nearly every year. Which is just unconscionable, and amazingly American, and amazingly Capitalist, and amazingly Republican. Again: Plantation Mentality.
