What's wrong with saying "All lives matter"?

So if the cops believe you have a gun, they should charge up and shoot you before you get a chance to use it? Does this apply only to black people, or should they shoot white guys with a gun as well?

Having a gun doesn’t make you an immanent deadly threat that must be neutralized without warning–if you’re white.

If the cops believe you have a gun, and you suddenly reach for it, yes.

OK, then please cite the studies where it was found that when the police were told you have a gun, you reach for it suddenly when they confront you, the police didn’t shoot if you were white, but did if you were black. Real data, not anecdotes or cherry-picking.

That’s why we need to, as soon as possible, expand uniform crime reporting to cover all shootings by police officers. Presently, this data is provided to the FBI on a voluntary and woefully incomplete basis. Ideally, use of body cameras would also be mandatory, so as to evaluate the accuracy of police reporting.

We need this sort of data to draw meaningful conclusions.

I would agree with this.

I also support the idea of video cameras. Even though it doesn’t always work out the way the diversity folks think it will.

“…the diversity folks…”? Seriously?

what is so bad about Shodan identifying himself as opposed to diversity?

So he’s “university”?

Mostly I’m just wondering if I already am a “diversity folk” or if I have neglected to be something else he despises. Can’t have that.

Diversity folk refers to when Dylan went electric in 1965. If you were OK with it then that’s you. Apparently he was one of the booers.

It’s also funny that he thinks people will be troubled by the undoing of a woman filing a false report. Can we similarly suppose that he is disappointed that body cams were the undoing of the U of Cincinnati cop who killed the unarmed diversity folk for driving without a plate? In my book, the two incidents are both examples of cams leading to justice.
