Speaking of display issues, has anyone else experienced the screen shaking rapidly up and down when you scroll down to the last post in some threads (including this thread)? The shaking doesn’t stop until you scroll up some.
It’s been happening for a few days on my fire tablet so I figured it was the dope wasn’t playing nice with Silk, but this morning it happened on Firefox on my desktop too.

I’ve seen this happen on this board and another Discourse board I read.
Rather annoying, but rare.

Well, the change to the icons is a feature not a bug as I understand it, but changing to a different theme seems to confirm the weird mis-sizing issue is gone. Thank you and the team for your hard work @codinghorror .

Update - still having the issue with posts where moderator instructions being mis-aligned, but it’s an improvement at least. Will try to check various themes when I have a chance.

Yes to the mod thing which has already been mentioned.
Everything seems to jump out of alignment to the left _when I add staff color_ (in case that gives you a direction to start looking for a fix). Then when I scroll down, the avatar of the person who posted above me scrolls down right along with me, covering up the text of my mod post.
And sorry to keep bringing up issues in Vincent, but today I noticed I no longer receive the Notifications button when someone flags a post. In Vincent, it’s a blue circle and is situated on the lower right of the hamburger menu. This issue is more recent than from the 24th, though.

It happens on my tablet at the end most threads - but only when I’m holding the tablet in landscape.

Yes, it’s all good now, and I’ve long got accustomed to the floating avatars. What I still notice is that official mod notes and quoted posts are outdented to the left, but I don’t know if this is a bug or a feature, for me at least it’s helpful to get aware of modding posts.

I agree with what @EinsteinsHund has said, and add the following: The mods’ avatars don’t move to the left along with their posts. So when we scroll, the avatars cover up text in mods’ posts.
In case it’s helpful, I’ll also add that the mod notes pop to the left when we Add Staff Color. Until that is done, the posts line up with everyone else’s.

Since Vincent still has that as a possible problem, I do admit it was visually distracting for me. Using ‘Dark’ isn’t as nice overall as Vincent, but (now that I’ve adapted) probably better than having those posts misaligned. It would upset my semi-obsessive nature!
ETA - corrected part of post where I said @Aspenglow reported no problems, it was @EinsteinsHund who had none and @Aspenglow who noted the above issue persists.

There were lots of problems with shifting posts for awhile with Vincent. They now seem to be mostly fixed, except for the one I described above. I’ve adapted and can live with it, but since @codinghorror asked…
I did try to use ‘Dark,’ but I didn’t find it an acceptable substitute. To be honest, Vincent will have to get a lot worse than it currently is for me to give it up. 🙂
