“These Foolish Things” by Billie Holliday. Perfect for a long, sweet, romantic dance. _“A cigerette that bears a lipstick’s traces, an airline ticket to romantic places. Oh, my heart has wings- these foolish things remind me of you.”_ Plus, it has a really long, beautiful intro that makes me all tingly. The only alternative I would ever consider is “A Kiss to Build A Dream On” by Louis Armstrong, or “At Last” by Etta James. Come to think of it, all three are on our mix tape. ---

Our tastes in music are pretty different but my gf and I do occasionally agree on certain songs. Presently it’s ‘Exit Music (For a Film)’ by Radiohead. Morbid, yes we know. “Breathe, keep breathing I can’t do this alone… now we are one in everlasting peace.” ---

If I had to choose, “Two Princes” by Spin Doctors. Not for the “deep, meaningful lyrical content” or anything, but it was on the radio a lot when we got together (summer of 1992), and it just coincides with driving around with the top down on a nice summer day without a care in the world. It brings back memories of good times of when we first got together. ---

My SO insists “our song” is Moon River, which was playing at the wedding where we met. OK, I don’t recall the song they played, but it was very old then, and I doubt if anyone has played it since, except the Mrs. ---

My _third_ post to this thread, already. :rolleyes: 1. I’m listening to _Bobcaygeon_ right now, oddly enough. 2. **Gun** and I are trying to come up with an our song, but having difficulties deciding on anything. The fact that he doesn’t seem to know any music besides Led Zep, AC/DC, Aerosmith and Chuck Berry isn’t really helping. ---

Our wedding song is **“Crush”** by the Dave Matthews Band (not to be confused with “Crash”) Some other songs that make us tingle b/c they remind us of special moments or when we first met: **"Baby I love your way"** Peter Frampton **"Fade to Black"** Metallica **"Don’t Close Your Eyes"** Kix Lots of **GNR** from the **“Use Your Illusion”** set as we played it constantly during our vehicle makeout sessions 🙂 ---

What a coincidence. I made a tape for my later-to-be-wife when I was in grad school and she’d just taken a job in her home state. We didn’t know we were going to fall in love yet. Probably to cut that got her the most was EL&P’s In the Beginning. The first dance song at our wedding was Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight. ---
