Always liked the “Head East Live” front cover. EDIT: I heard a rumour that buddy tried to duke it out with Tad’s vocalist over the issue, but that was probably just a rumour. ---

Sonic Youth also had some terrific album covers. Ultra Lounge, Fuzzy Sampler its actual animal print velvet.
