Not just a breakfast order, but my order pretty much every time I go to a diner:
Hash and eggs (over easy) with home fries and wheat toast, cranberry juice, and coffee (regular). And plenty of hot sauce.

Two eggs over easy, bacon, hash browns, buttered rye toast, a large glass of orange juice and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

Then someone to share quiet and amusing conversation with while I eat.

A sausage breakfast burrito over at the local hamburger shop. After eating that, I’m so stuffed that I usually don’t have to eat lunch.

Two eggs scrambled, with lots of ketchup. An order of corned beef hash. Home fries. White toast with butter and grape jelly. Fresh squeezed orange juice.

Close second is shit-on-a-shingle with scrambled eggs and orange juice.

A yogurt and a cup of coffee. Breakfast is for the weak.

If I’m hung over: corned beef hash or red flannel hash with 2 eggs, over easy, and white toast. The hash must be slightly burnt. OJ and coffee coffee coffee.

If I’m not hung over, but feeling indulgent, a salt bagel with olive cream cheese. Plus coffee.

Otherwise it’s usually a cup of coffee and a slice of peanut butter toast, or if I’m in a hurry just the coffee.

Coffee. And make it quick. It’s 5:00 am and I’m already late.

Three strips of bacon, hash browns with country gravy, sausage patties, biscuits with real butter, three eggs over easy and a huge glass of ice cold milk.

Two favorites, but I can’t order them anyplace but mom’s kitchen ☹

Cored apples baked with sausage links with Swiss cheese melting over it…mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Yep, sounds weird, but you’ve never had it, have you!

Swedish pancakes (like crepes) with either preserves or regular syrup…double mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Chicken-fried steak, two eggs up, hash browns, wheat toast, and coffee. That’ll last me 'til dinner…even could be the only meal of the day if I eat it around noon.
