# What's your favorite celebrity rumor (that does not involve Richard Gere or Rod Stewart)?

I’ve always had a suspicion that Jennifer Aniston’s face was on every tabloid cover at the supermarket checkout. Who was standing in line there, and looking at or buying the tabloids? Young mothers of small children (think Walmart during August). They either worshipped Ms. Aniston and wished she would produce some small versions. Or they envied her her charmed, luxurious life and wished she would get knocked up, suffer puffy legs, hemorrhoids, and be blessed with her own set of squalling brats. I think they either loved fulfilling their destinies as mommys, or were angered that she was child-free. In either case, it was disgusting, like watching a panda in a zoo hoping it was going to breed.

The way you phrased that makes it sound like sometimes Aniston popping into the public eye started rumors that Lawless was pregnant, or vice-versa. An amusing notion.

Bumping this zombie thread: The semen thing started with Rod Stewart, and I’ve also heard that rumor about Jamie Lee Curtis actually being a genetic male. Okay, she has a gender-neutral name, and was unable to have children of her own, so that one may have some truth to it. If she wants us to know, she will tell us.

This was addressed in one of Cecil’s books; I seem to remember the answer being inconclusive.
