Of course we have. What’s so stunning about the results? My dad used to get filet all the time when I was a kid. I was taught it was the best cut of the cow. It most definitely was not.

Yes, it’s beautiful, and very tender, and one of the blander cuts of beef. I far prefer sirloin.
