I’ve been wanting to try out FireFox for a long time, but never was happy with the way Bookmarks worked as opposed to Favorites in IE. But with the continuing security warnings about using IE, I decided to take the plunge and give FF a full tryout.

Well, I couldn’t have been more pleased. I quickly found a plugin that allows me to sort my bookmarks alphabetically, thus making them like Favorites, at least in the area I was concerned.

I was also very pleased to find you can add other sites to the Searchbar, and they even had Snopes and The Straight Dope.

So…now that I’m pretty much decided I’m going to make FF my main browser, I thought I’d come here and ask what add-ons/plug-ins others are using and love…

So far, I have:

AdBlock
Linkification (this doesn’t seem to do anything)
Resize Search Box
Sort Bookmarks
Tabbrowser Extensions

Sorry to reply to my own thread before anyone else does, but I forgot to ask another question…

Does anyone know if there’s a plug-in that will “auto-hide” the Bookmarks window? I used to use NetCaptor and liked having my Favorites window auto-hide itself except when I put the mouse over the left side of the screen.
