I also remember the steak & onion chips from right around the same time–and I’m almost positive they were Snyder’s of Hanover. I checked their website and, if they were made by them, they ain’t no more. Pity–they were dee-lishous! And, **silenus** , I checked Herr’s website–they list the Steak & Worcestershire chips, but they’re not listed on any of the ordering pages! Are they still around? How can I find them? The local Wal-Mart had them for about a week a few months ago, but no more. I myself don’t care for kettle-cooked chips much–they don’t lend themselves to piling onto a sammich. I prefer the texture of regular chips. And if you absolutely have to have canned chips, Lays Stax are much better than Pringles. But the aforementioned Munchos are better than either. ---

Tayto or King brand Cheese and Onion. I’m partial to Lay’s (original flavour?) in the yellow packet when I’m on the other side of the pond. ---

Miss Vickies Lime and Black Pepper chips. My sister turned me on to these. They’re my “fallen off my diet” chips, and I can go through a big bag in no time. ---

O’Grady’s Au Grautin chips. I’ve done a cursory web-search, and apparently the things just don’t exist anymore. A nice, thick chip with tons of cheese flavor on it. And now I’ve got cravings. ☹ ---
