1. Back when I still went to the barber/hairdresser, some salons would shave the back of your neck with hot lather. Very sensuous, very extravagant. Relaxing, makes you feel spoiled. 2. When you get up in the middle of night in a cold house, and how you feel cold for a few minutes when you get back into bed. ---

Taste: My homemade cinnamon rolls and warm cocoa. Smell: Wild roses or lavender or a citrusy blend. I adore the scent of fresh squeezd lemon or cinnamon baking in a home. Sound: That male victory sound my oldest makes when he sets a personal best time or wins. (Go Baby Go!) Touch: Gentle caresses of your satiated and content infant late in the night. Sight: The sun setting behind my oldest as he makes a great cut with a rooster tail spray on his slalom. ---

Taste: Chocolate and Peanut Butter. _drool_ Smell: The smell of a diesel tractor, and to a lesser degree, a diesel truck. Hey, I spent a lot of time on my grandmother’s farm as a wee sprat, 'kay? Touch: When some women just decide to rub my bald head. Do you think they realize it’s really one big errogenous zone? Boy, I hope so. Sound: Cicadas in the summer. For me, that IS the sound of summer. ---

Sight - - smiling faces of my family and friends at a dinner party Sound - - my most amazingly talented sister playing Beethoven’s piano sonatas on her grand by the fire Taste - - Pancer’s pastrami (but sadly I’m a veggie, so it is a taste forbidden to me, but I will always remember it) Smell - - dense cedar forest at a hotspring overlooking a creek flowing into the Lochsa Touch - - my back being scratched by a friend (when I come back, it will be a black bear in a jackpine forest so that I can spend all day scritch scritch scritching my back on the tree trunks) ---

The smell of honeysuckle or brownies baking The heat of a southern summer day, the kind that leaves you sticky and flush, a day that begs for a shade tree, a frozen drink, and a good book. I like to wake up sweaty from leaving the window open on a humid summer night. Soft, fuzzy, warm sweaters in the winter The kittens fur brushing against my cheek as she gives me a kitty hug. I love the feel of… the breeze moving my hair over my neck and back. the first really warm day in spring, and the first really cool day in the fall. having my back scratched. having one of my posts praised. dancing as the music flows through me. dopehugs. I love the smell and feel of the herb section at the plant store. I love the smell of coffee sandlewood I love the taste of chocolate (but that may be the theobramine talking). indian food. I love the sight and sound of a good rousing thunderstorm. the wild depths of forests, where the floor is dappled with sunlight and everything is green and brown and secret. I love the sight of my back yard when everything is blooming. wildflowers. sunsets where there are just enough clouds in the sky to pick up the last rays of the sun, shifting from pink to purple to blue to gray. steam trains. a full moon, low on the horizon; esp. when it’s the harvest moon or there are light clouds in the sky. my cats tearing through the house playing chase. I love the sound of the sea. snowfall. a dopefest in full swing. 😃 my kitty’s frustrated cries when she is trying to understand a new “toy” (read, a plastic wrapper from a pill bottle.) ---

The weird tingling/goosepimply/hair raising feel I get all over my scalp when wathcing someone demonstrate something intricate and/or skillful. Only seems to work doing it in the flesh so to speak.
