> [@don\_t\_ask](#): > > Short and sweet Paul Kelly [To Her Door](http://www.lyricsfreak.com/p/paul+kelly/to+her+door_20315912.html) Paul Kelly does a lot of good ones - I prefer [Deeper Water](http://www.lyricsdownload.com/paul-kelly-deeper-water-lyrics.html) and [How to Make Gravy](http://artists.letssingit.com/paul-kelly-lyrics-how-to-make-gravy-kw9kp43) (actually in the form of a letter, but it’s close enough) to To Her Door. But I think his best by a country mile is his cover of Hot Chocolate’s (no, really) [It Started with a Kiss](http://www.lyricsdepot.com/hot-chocolate/it-started-with-a-kiss.html). It’s a song that actually uses his thin, croaky voice to convey a level of emotion that the original disco track completely erased from the lyrics. ---
