I was thinking the same thing. I mean, I was feeling pretty bad reading the site. Looking at all the last meals, thinking about how they would be dead in a few minutes. Then I started to look at their info, some of them were only 19 or 20 when they did the crime and in their late 30’s when they were executed. I mean, what could be so bad that they couldn’t be forgiven after 15 or 20 years? Then I started looking at what they did :eek:. I just can’t imagine what could provoke these people to act the way they did and I can’t fathom them ever being able to function as socially responsible people again.
All in all, I still have very mixed feelings about the death penalty.
I might say something that would implicate another person. Same purpose as clayton_e’s statement: mess with other people, and no consequences.
