What thread, initiated by you, got the most replies? I’m not talking about a debate in which you were a participant. Just something you started and then others ran with. I asked a question about conspiracy theorists and it went to 326 replies before I chimed in again. Very modest by SDMB standards but it surprised me and shows how passionate some people can be. Especially, CTers. So what’s your personal record (overall number and/or number of replies before you re-posted) and what was the topic? ---

I started a few with over 400 replies. The most was [What are your most extreme, honestly held views?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=638634) with 467 replies. I hope none of the responders have a TV show on A&E because they are going to lose it if the word gets out. ---

I’m not going to set any records here, except maybe Most Boring Poster. My top two are: The ‘Put it back on the menu, dammit’ Thread 181 Semi-obligatory ‘Sky Captain’ Thread 142 Most threads I start, if I get to 20 replies I consider it a success. Since I joined in 2000, I’ve had fewer than ten threads that have gone over 100 replies. There are a few anomalies in post views, however. Most of my longer threads top out around 4000 views, but I noticed one on ‘American Pickers’ I started a while back has almost 17,000(!) views (vs. 50 replies). Can’t account for that one. ---
