Nope. Very like ā€œUnder Military Lawā€, ā€œAmbulanceā€, ā€œThe Village Detectiveā€ (a modern one). And I donā€™t praise modern Russian cinema, for its corruption is very great. However, TV series are still much better than those of Hollywood. ---

1. There doesnā€™t appear to have been any ā€œballyhooā€. Iā€™d never heard of this case, and if the Wikipedia article doesnā€™t mention it, it seems safe to say itā€™s obscure. 2. To the extent that any Americans at the time were complaining about this banning, Iā€™m quite sure that those sticking up for the principle of free speech vastly outnumbered those who had any personal interest in actually seeing the movie. ---
