I was fine without them, but now that they’re here, I like them. They are small and not too distracting for me. They give a little insight into the personality of the poster. I especially like the ones that tie into their user name. ---

I didn’t really want them but turned them on just to see what it was like. I know I’m old, but most of these are so tiny I can’t tell what they are. I think I will just turn them off again to keep from being frustrated trying to see what the heck they are! ---

They were on by default for me when I was logged in, but other people seem to have them off by default. Or maybe it was just random. Anyway it is easily changed in the User CP. ---

I like them. Signatures have always bugged me way more than avatars on message boards, though. ---

I turned them off. I’m old fashioned. I still think there should be a conch shell that dictates who can post at any given time. ---

I like them. They help identify the poster quickly. A picture is worth a thousand words, you know. Or two thousand bytes. ---

I don’t see them at all, so that’s good. If they show up I’ll block them. Can’t we have even one clean site on the internet? I refuse to join some special interest boards that I share the special interest of because their message boards look like shit. Multiple sigs (on EVERY POST), avatars, gifs, (ANIMATED gifs no less!) and random shiny twirly thingies. no thanks. ---

What this board needs is a ‘like’ feature so that I can adequately communicate my feelings about the avatars. ---

There have been posters whose names are similar and I get confused. This would help differentiate them. I think as long as they remain small and not animated they’re good. ---
