used to have a recording of my wife saying “smile, it’ll make yer butt tingle” for a ringtone, sigh, lost it in a phone transfer to a new phone some years ago and she’s never been willing to make a new recording for me. ---

The default is the loud, classic telephone ring. My mother’s is one I made from Trevor Nunn’s production of Macbeth, Judi Dench screaming. ---

I’m ready to fight everyone in this thread. No phone sounds, ever. No one wants to hear your ringtones or notifications. Silent, or vibrate, if you must, but no cutesy ringtones or alerts. If you absolutely must hear your phone for some reason (you don’t) then a plain phone ring, on low. LOW. ---

I have specific ringtones for SWMBO and a few others. But my primary ringtone is based on my occupation as a Taekwondo instructor.
