I did a search on this and didn’t find anything. My apologies if it’s been done before. Anyhow, the question is: What’s the theme song for your life? To be fair, I’ll tell you mine: “I Saved the World Today”… Eurythmics. I know it’s corny, but it fits. Also, I think it’s a nice song. ---

Come to the barbecue and sit by my side We couldn’t choose a better night if we tried Can’t you imagine what a thrill it will be Pickin’ a chicken with me It’s so romantic, the moon up above Is extra bright on a night such as this, Pullin’ a wishbone with someone you love Is almost certain to end with a kiss It’s also got a cool lot of up-beat doobie-doobies. (this is the only place in the world where I could admit this.) ---

Lately it’s “Curriculum Vitae” the Alps I can’t find the lyrics anywhere online, but they go like this: Don’t go to work today it’s overrated don’t throw your precious days away they can’t be backdated You’re working all the hours God sends for someone you don’t like You know where you can stick your curriculum vitae All the hours God sends I’d sooner be with you… There are a couple of "you"s I know that I’d rather be around lately, but I do so hate working for my boss. ---

When the screen fades to black and the closing credits of the movie of my life start to roll, one of two songs will be playing: “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John, or “Midnight Blue” by Lou Gramm. ---

“Desperado” by the Eagles, paticularly the reprise: The Queen of Diamonds let you down, she was just an empty fable. The Queen of Hearts you claim you never met. Your twisted fate has found you out and it’s finally turned the table. They stole your dreams and paid you with regret.
