# What's your tri-state area?

There could be sufficient people in the Renmark area near the South Australian, Victorian, New South Wales border point to justify it, although as you say, it’s not in use.

Hey, Cameron Corner is a bustling metropolis compared to [Poepell’s Corner](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poepell%27s_corner).

We have lots of corners in Australia. Only because there isn’t anything else.

We native NYers are \*aware \* of the other states. (aren’t these the places many of the current NYers escaped from?)

Where I grew up the tri-state area as defind by the local news was NY, NJ and Conn. Now I live in a house from which I can see the hills of Pennsylvania across the Delaware…and I still think of _the_ tri-state area as NY, NJ and Conn. I still watch the NY news instead of the “local” Philly channels. Who wants to hear about the Eagles for 15 minutes out of a half hour newscast?
