I’m continually frustrated with myself for making the same typos over and over. It’s a frightening insight into the way my brain works. I am completely incapable of typing the word _pancakes_ correctly at the first attempt. It always comes out as _pankaces_. Also _Olympic_ is more often than not _Olypmic_. I’m kinda lucky in that these are not words I feel a burning need to use daily. But _wil_ for _will_ is my constant companion. So c’mon Dopers, 'fess up. What’s yours? ---

My two worst ones are **teh** for **the** and **Chpater** for **Chapter** (I’m a copyeditor, so that one comes up a lot.) I refuse to use “autocorrect,” though – I need to find them myself and see how often I do them, so I can try to stop! And yes, I’m a great speller but a lousy typist. ---

I don’t have any one typo that I repeatedly use. Except when I go to type “typo”, I always want to type “type” instead. ---

I invariably type _jsut_. And _alwyas_. I’m never sure if it is because my brain moves faster than my fingers, or because of a synapse that wasn’t developed in my formative years. 🙂 Twiddle ---

Teh otehr dya… Smoe of my fingers move faster than otehrs and I end up with letters swithced around seven ways to sunday, especially when there’s an H involved. ---

I see so many of mine here: teh yopu or ytou jsut For some reason, I’ll swap “w” and “s” when I’m going too fast. I’ll aslo do “tot he” for to the… I’ve always contended that creative people don’t have time to bother with the details… You’re not buying it either, are you??? ---

**thier** instead of **their** 'cuz, ya see, the **e** and the **r** are right next to each other on the keyboard, so _obviously_ they belong next to each other in any word I might type. ::sigh:: And the sucky thing is, is that it doesn’t _look_ like a typo, it just looks like I’m an idiot that can’t spell. I also reverse two letter words all the time: ot ti si fo (ect.) ---

I tend to insert spaces wrong: “th e only on eto got here” was supposed to be “the only one to go there.” mcuh for much, because my hands refuse to cooperate. I’m also incapable of spelling shadow without consciously stopping my self from writing “shawdo”. typing and writing. ---

I have numerous personal typos, but my biggies are **thay** for **they** , and **thae** for **the**. I like a’s. ---

I had a long run where “this” always came out “shit” - I have no idea why. It was when I was working in tech support. Maybe that explains a lot. Teh ti thier If I just start typing a random paratgraph withougt looking at the ikeyboard and onlyh hapharzardly at the screen it looks quite a bit like this o9nel. Danmit Aha!
