waht = what (waht the #%!?) teh = the (What teh #%!?) clietn = client (There goes my professional credibility) ahve = have (I ahve no excuse) adn = and (adn I still have no excuse) liek = like (I just tell people it is the phonetic spelling) Those just scratch the surface. Unless I preview and proofread carefully, it becomes quite apparent that I have what I refer to as dyslexic fingers. On the board, I can proofread and I’m OK, but catch me in a fast-paced conversation on instant messenger, and it is **quite** comical. 😃 ---

I do the spacing thing too - it’s because my brain works faster than my fingers, and they have a hard time catching up. The embarassing one - no lie, instead of “coke” I can’t seem to avoid “cock”. I once sent out a memo about fixing the cock machine in the lobby. The response I got to that one… I chalk it up to sexual frustration and the aftermath of a women’s college. ---

Because my fingers are a tad, well… stubby, I tend to hit the v instead of the b for words. And forget reaching any of the number keys. But[sup]\*[/sup] my worst problems appear to be of the Freudian variety. One bad day, when writing a dye color, I noticed I kept putting it down as “blues”. \*[sub]I do proofread well though.[/sub] ---

I always have to overcome the compulsion to capitalise “idea”. As in “I just had a neat Idea.” ---

ornage, as in Ornage County, Florida (Funny, I can type out Chassahowitska, Allapattah, Fakahatchee, Tohopekaliga, Miccosukee, Istachatta, Olustee, Pithlachascotee, malaleuca, et al, with no problems from memory, but I have to lokk back each time I attempt the name of the county.) email addresses always have a ! before the @ ---

I always want to throw a t into busy to make… yes, busty. I don’t know why. You can analyse that all you want. I have to look up the spelling of guarantee every time I need to use it. I often have to look up exhilaration, exaggerate and a few other words. ---

I have the usual ones: teh, becuase, etc. But recently, whenever I start a sentance with the word “the”, I leave my pinky on the shift key just slightly too long, and it comes out “THe.” I’m getting really tired of fixing that one. ---

Most of mine are alredy listed here: Teh jsut the whole spacing thing But another one that I don’t ever get right is _self_. It always comes out as _slef_. That just sucks. And anothr one that I jsut (shit) noticed was son’t instead of don’t. Pretty weird. Also sometimes I hold the Shift key down too long, and it turns into something like THis, and that PIsses ME OFf. ---

My most common typo is lvoe for love. It can be kinda embarassing when I write a lvoe note to my fiancee. I also tend to swap the letters of many two letter words. I have also been known to add extraneous letters to words. As I type the words I jsut accidentallty hit extra keys. Hmmm… It looks like I also have problems with the word just.
