I wonder how it compares to a pure track car like a Van Diemen? I can’t imagine driving a Mono for long distances would be that pleasant. Plus, how does it handle potholes, speed bumps, or even steep driveways? Looks like fun though.

Another Doug DeMuro follower, huh? The guy does have an undeniable quirky charm…and the comments are always hilarious.

Its performance specs are impressive. But I hate the way it looks. If I was going to pay out the ass for a street legal race car, I’d rather go old-school with a Lotus, Allard or Bugatti.

I love Doug.

That car is downright silly for street use. For that kind of money, I’d go for a [Singer rebuilt 911](http://singervehicledesign.com/works/), or a completely redone and updated Jaguar E-type 2+2. Something I could just enjoy looking at as much as I’d enjoy driving.

In that video, pretty sure the white MB Wagon is Doug’s daily driver E63 AMG. Not a slow car by any stretch of the imagination, but I think it was having trouble keeping the BAC Mono in line of sight.
